LINKOOL Technical Team Conducts Product Review on Current Door-Type Air Curtain Cabinets

Recently, LINKOOL’s technical and engineering team carried out a comprehensive internal review of our current door-type air curtain cabinets, focusing on performance, structure, and real-world commercial application. This evaluation is part of our ongoing commitment to continuously improve product reliability and user experience across our commercial refrigeration range.

Although traditionally known as an open chiller or air open refrigerator, door-equipped air curtain cabinets combine the advantages of open display and energy-efficient enclosed refrigeration. During the review, our technicians assessed airflow stability, temperature uniformity, and cooling recovery speed under standard operating conditions.

Special attention was given to cooling efficiency and product preservation. As a commercial display fridge, the cabinet must maintain stable temperatures while offering clear visibility and easy access. The team tested the unit’s fan-cooling system, air circulation design, and defrost performance to ensure consistent cooling across all shelves, even during frequent door openings.

Energy consumption and operational reliability were also key discussion points. By optimizing air curtain direction and door sealing performance, the reviewed models demonstrate improved energy efficiency compared to traditional open chillers, while still delivering the display effect required for beverage cooler and fresh food applications in supermarkets, convenience stores, and retail environments.

In addition to performance testing, the review covered structural details such as cabinet insulation, glass door quality, shelf load capacity, and internal LED lighting layout. Feedback from the technical team will be applied to further refinements, ensuring the product meets both international standards and diverse market requirements.
